• Bring printed copy of edited Biopoem or I Am From poem to next class (Reminder: must include symbolism or imagery, and follow either lyric or narrative structure)
• Groups: make sure to bring your Lesson Plan information and ideas with you to class. This week will be the last class-time given to work on them.

3. Groups: Decide on Poem Usage from text
4. Read/Listen: Villanelle- Theodore Rotheke's The Waking (p.685)
5. Analysis: Villanelle and immortality in writing

Homework:

• Bring Draft of Lesson Plan to next class (work on handouts, videos, or visual aids you may need to produce)
  
• Begin working on Object Poem:

1. Typed, name/period/date at top-left
   
2. Title (DO NOT REVEAL THE OBJECT'S NAME IN THE TITLE)
   
3. Speaker must be object/plant (DO NOT REVEAL THE OBJECT'S NAME IN THE POEM)
   
4. must include: figurative language, rhyme, alliteration
5. Must follow a poetic form: Italian Sonnet, English Sonnet, Villanelle, or Tanka
   
6. skip a line at the end and reveal what the object is

• NOTE: GROUP LESSON PLANS ARE SCHEDULED TO BEGIN NEXT FRIDAY. OUR SCHEDULE IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE FOLLOWING IT WILL ALLOW YOU PLENTY OF TIME FOR THE MAJOR WRITING ASSIGNMENT FOR THE QUARTER: SIFTT POETRY ANALYSIS.
