  1. Do Now: Is there anything about the way you were taught the research paper that could be made better?
  2. Then: Review of Drafts and 4th Draft requirements
  3. Next: Slaughterhouse Five Essay Preview (to be completed on Friday in class)
  4. After: Collaborate on Project Ideas (See 4th Quarter Plan)
Homework:
  • Draft 3 revision requirements:

  1. Must make ALL necessary changes
  2. Highlight changes on 4th Draft
  3. 3rd Draft must be paper-clipped to 4th Draft
  4. Due by Wednesday, March 21

  • Bring Slaughterhouse Five RAFT Project Proposal on Wednesday
  • Be familiar with the ideologies listed in the last posting...more to come

  2. Then: Work in groups to develop the RAFT Strategy into a written Project Proposal like the one from first quarter
  3. After: Preview essay for Friday

Students who finish early may read Slaughterhouse Five or their Independent Reading book.  A TEST-TAKING ENVIRONMENT is to be maintained for the remainder of the period; so, these are the only two options for post-writing activities.  Failure to follow these instructions will result in failure of the assignment.
