Spring Break through Thursday, March 28

All Received Research Papers have been graded.  If you believe there is a 'missing' mark for your grade, please e-mail me.

Students will be given one final opportunity to improve their Quarter 3 Research Paper grade.  Drafts will be available on Wednesday, March 27 before school starts and throughout the day.  Follow these steps to improve your grade:
  1. Retrieve your marked draft from Quarter 3.
  2. Create a new Google Drive file for the new draft.
  3. Make the changes suggested and any other ones that you find on your own or through peer-editing.
  4. Highlight ALL OF THE CHANGES YOU'VE MADE TO THIS NEXT DRAFT. This may be done electronically or with a real highlighter- whichever is easier for you.
  5. Paper-clip BOTH drafts together and re-submit.
I will be checking that you made ALL of the suggested changes, as well as some you found on your own or through peer-editing.  Only a one grade-level change will be allowed per-student.  The upgrade will look like this on your Edline report:
  • Incomplete>Below/Not Met
  • Below/Not Met>Approaches
  • Approaches>Meets
  • Meets>Exceeds
  • Exceeds>Outstanding (only a small difference, but it's yours if you want it)
  • Outstanding...'maybe just read your book.
