Classwork
  1. Do Now: Quiz #5- dict, dorm, duc/duct, endo, equi, fac/fact/fic/fect, fid/fide/feder
  2. Then: SIFTt Analysis overview (print document here)
  3. After: Review Practice Poems from last week (In Flander's Fields, The Kraken, The Bridegroom)
  4. Next: Outlining/Editing Session (click here for introductory paragraph help)
  5. Presentation Reminder: The following are your dates for Lesson Plan Presentations:
  • September 11-Mr. Blonde
  • September 13-Mr. Blue, Mr. Orange
  • September 20-Mr. Pink, Mr. Brown
  • September 25-Mr. White
  • Each group, except for 1, will have 30 minutes to deliver their lesson.  A final draft of the lesson plan will be due on the day of the presentation.  Any copies for the class must be submitted earlier so that copies can be made (September 11 group must give me copy requests the Friday before, as I will not be in school on September 10).  Electronic materials should be checked for function on my computer the day before as well.  Remember: I'm a PC.
